Fight or Flight (2024) ☆☆1/2(2.5/4): A flight full of killers

Posted on September 2, 2025 by kaist455

“Fight or Flight” is one of those goofy action thriller films which do not take themselves seriously while having some outrageous fun with their utterly silly story premise. Although it is rather deficient in terms of story and character, the … Continue reading →

Love at First Sight (2023) ☆☆(2/4): Statistically boring

Posted on September 18, 2023 by kaist455

Netflix film “Love at First Sight”, which was released a few days ago, is a joyless experience which made my certain several flight experiences relatively less boring in comparison. Yes, it was sometimes hard for me to endure for more … Continue reading →

Blood Red Sky (2021) ☆☆1/2(2.5/4): A little setback on one hijacked plane

Posted on August 2, 2021 by kaist455

Netflix film “Blood Red Sky”, which was released a few weeks ago, attempts an amusing mix of two different genres during its 2-hour flight, but its flight turns out to be too trite and predictable to me. I am wondering … Continue reading →

Posted on September 5, 2013 by kaist455

“The Wind Rises”, a new animation feature film which will probably be the last work from a great master of Japanese Animation, looks as lovely as expected, but I did an unthinkable thing I have never expected; I checked my … Continue reading →

He survives, but the crash is not over for him yet. After striking us with a gut-chilling sequence at the start, Robert Zemeckis’ “Flight” switches its gear into a slow but compelling character drama about a long personal crash of … Continue reading →
