Korea is beautiful!
Nice to discover your blog in English. Your writing has the power of feeling and the versatility to discover the means to articulate complex experiences. You tend to skip “a” and “the” but I would prefer to write my own way rather than parody British or American style. After all English is a group of languages and, like the internet, not the property or monoply of anybody.
I think I have to follow some old advice from one of my former English instructor now; always put “a” and “The” whenever your instinct sense any trace of possibility.
Hi Seongyong!
I’m glad I found this website through a mutual blogging friend of ours. And I was honored to see that you’re already following my blog.
BTW, great review of Metropolis. I was wondering why we hadn’t seen you on the Far-Flung Correspondents page. And to think that you wrote it in your second language…wow.
That is my third review on the FFC page.
You are right! I was reading your reviews without realizing I was reading your reviews. How silly of me. 🙂
Since “a” and “the” don’t serve any purpose anyway, I have a mind to drop them altogether myself!
